You can work as a coordinator of IISH as a member or as a non member without any difference.
When you become a member of IISH you are eligible for all the pamphlets, brochures and small books in English and/or Malayalam free. You are eligible for the books costs almost one third of the membership amount , immediately after becoming the member and also eligible for a significant reduction for the publications at any time. All the memberships are life memberships and hence renewal is not needed.
You can also improve from one status to a higher level when you feel worth doing so. You are eligible for books packet in January and June every year as a member. You are also one among the family member in the annual family get together held during Gandhi Jayanthi day every year Oct. 2nd at NHC.

The difference among these memberships are mainly in the number of books and CDs dispatched from iish, annually. All the books priced below Rs. 10 will be available for Fellow members, books priced below Rs. 20 will be available for Advisory council members and all the books except reference books will be available for the Patrons.

IISH Monthly Bharath Heritage News (in English)OR Bhaaratha Paithruka Sandesha (in Malayalam) will be available for life time.
Important IISH Events will be communicated and will be invited for special meetings.
Will be eligible for a significant reduction for all the publications at any time when the membership number is informed with a covering letter.
Will be invited for the annual family get together, Annual Seminars and Project evaluation meetings held during Gandhi Jayanthi day and other specific days every year.
