THURSDAY  MESSAGE , SERIES No  217,  2010, JULY 8TH

INDIAN MESSAGE. The reward  of all the positive and negative actions  is to be faced and experienced by the individual. But if only the positive results remain and negatives  do not exist ( that condition comes when all the negatives were experienced/ as sufferings/pains/failures/worries /sorrows etc and nothing remain to be experienced) , under that situation, the aatma  has no negative experience to carry for the next janma/ birth. ( then we can use the words ‘ no paapam exist only punyam remaims / ounyaathman / etc) . that means  the punishment  of the paapam (= hell / narakam)  will not be there for the owner of that atman . he has to experience only the reward of the punya . Which is nothing but ‘swarga or Moksha’ . Here one can say the elevation of the atman takes place from a level  in which  high level of carrying the negative Karmaphala to a level where  the atman has no negatives karma phala to carry. This is the elevation of atman.  Thus  one should know that Body + mind + soul are to be elevated every day to reach the highest level for the soul, through noble actions/ through noble mind and thoughts.  That is the reason why people have to continuously work for  changing the mental attitude  from negatives to positive or less positive to more positive. Resulting in the  good/constructive /positive /…thoughts through fruitful/useful /positive/ constructive actions  and their glorious  results and rewards. This  take the  mind, body and soul to the highest level
UPANISHADS: the benefits of  wearing rudraaksha  at different times and different days. Their number, their color and other  factors  influencing the actual merits of each rudraaksha. Finally the Rudraaksha jaabaala Upanishad gives the mantra of wearing  rudraaksha by different individuals.  Detailed explanations are given in the end of the Upanishad,  on the life style of the persons who are wearing  the rudraaksha, his food, customs and rituals to be followed etc.  and end the Upanishads tell the  importance and merits of people following such life styles after wearing the  rudraaksha and also sacred thread. Remember that everyone  living of their own life style  is not expected to wear rudraaksha.
IISH  achievements : Lecture class in theerthapaadmandapam @ Kailas, Maanasasarovar, Srayoo theertham were distributed to the audience. @ All India Radio Broadcasts  Heritage messages for the last many weeks.
SEVANAM SAMARPANAM : Usual  monthly support for the orphanages, poor homes and  hospitals were distributed.
MESSAGES : Live a happy and worth living life. Every animal  and plant contribute  for the life and happiness of others too.  Sri Rama’s message is that how he himself became a model ideal personality for others, through self experiencing  the pains of life. He demonstrated  through his life  a mixture of  responsibilities / privileges / failures / successes / sorrows / pains /  and so on with only a little happiness and pleasure. In fact  through out Ramayna  every incident  demonstrates negatives even though Ramayana is agreat positive epic.
INDIAN MANAGEMENT MESSAGE VIDUROPADESA: for a king or leader there are five types of strengths of which the  muscle power ( physical strength is the last one)  having an excellent/ qualified secretary/ minister is the second strength;  having wealth is  the third strength;  having name/ fame /nobility / etc is the fourth strength. But the first is the  wisdom ( constructive intelligence) . This is the opinion of the scholars  which should be known to every leader

WHAT I HEARD AND SAW : There were hundreds and thousands of people doing  the most strenuous, tedious kailasa parikrama with us in Kailas.  I found that people are  ready to undertake any type of sufferings. Never they are lazy. Without proper food, comfort, drinking water, in short without anything, they could walk upto 22,500 feet through Dolma pass   and walk through 27 kms in 3 days. The most tedious pilgrimage in the world.

LEARNING  HINDU DHARMA / HINDUISM  LESSON : 7 (8th July)
MORE ABOUT HINDU DHARMA: FOUR ASRAMS OF HINDUS  the life period of a  Hindu has been , in olden days  classified into four stages. Upto 12 – 16 or so  brahmacharyasrama , the period of learning. Then after that upto 50 – 55  gruhasthasrama,  leading the family life. Then  for one or two decades vaana prasthaasrama  relieving all the family burdens   and giving the responsibility to the eldest son  and leaving for social work in   old age homes/ hospitals / social work centers/ aasrams.   Finally sanyaasa   relinquishing everything  by focusing only on god worship  with an ultimate aim of  leaving the body and taking the soul to a higher level.  This has been practiced for many millennia in India including the great kings and rich men. Even today many practice the same  directly or indirectly.
There are four ashrams in Hindu way of life and similarly there are four Varna which are not at all the present caste system. Wrongly many people think that Varna means caste. Varna is only the name given depending upon the profession of a Hindu like in modern days  we say Doctor, lawyer, accountant,  clerk  and so on. As in the profession one is expected to  elevate himself  from lower level of profession, here in varna to the higher level and beyond that.
